Summary of Role:

 

The director (or senior manager) of brand activation department develop our Brand Experience and activation capability.             She or he leads teams in using our Brand Experience, innovation and implementation offerings to help clients create                   and bring to market innovative experiences, products and services.                                                                                    Success in this role will be measured based on **********¡¯s 5 P¡¯s – Product, People, Performance, Partners and Positioning:

 

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

Product

 

  • Create a clear vision for a brand¡¯s experience and activation strategy by applying findings, insights                                                       and recommendations to create unique, integrated and coherent brand experiences that connect brands                                               and people in emotional and meaningful ways.

  • Evaluate the organization¡¯s current user experience strategy and activation capability

  • Engage the client organization with a shared vision and roadmap to bring the desired experiences to market.

  • Lead experience measurement/ analytics conversations with clients

  • Identify our clients¡¯ needs, develop solutions on the area of  Retail & environment, User experience, Service Design,                               Go to market strategy and implementation, Brand management platform, Implementation,                                                          Marketing capability development, UX capability development

  • Develop pitch proposals on the above area with compelling ideas                                                                                                       and with down to earth operational plans including external partners  

  • Organize internal and external resources to effectively ute the Interbrand¡¯s solution on the above area

     

 

People

 

  • Identify and recruit talent, grow brand experience & activation team by closely working with HR and CEO

  • Mentor, coach and develop top talent across the organization.

  • Work closely with teams to help strengthen their brand experience capabilities, and create synergy

  • Develop, teach and implement new approaches to user research and requirements gathering

  • Create an amazing culture to create transformative solutions for IB and our clients

 

Performance

 

  • Partner with our new business and marketing teams to develop and sell brand experience solutions to new and existing clients.

  • Deliver projects on budget achieving profit objectives

  • Identify innovative business models to generate revenue in new and sustainable ways

  • Contribute to new products and services to maintain IB¡¯s relevance in the market place

 

Partners

 

  • Identify opportunities where ********** can positively and significantly impact our clients¡¯ businesses                                                and create coherent experiences for our clients internal and external audiences.

  • Bring an experience approach to how we develop business with new and existing clients

  • Lead client engagements and identify opportunities to grow these relationships

  • Help our clients understand the value of experience strategy to their brand and business

  • Lead client conversations on the pace of change and the challenges and opportunities this poses for their business and brand

 

Positioning

 

  • Thought leadership and IP creation: content (media, social media, speaking events, etc.) about our brand experience                            and activation capability and current thinking that positions ********** as a leading brand experience consultancy.

  • Develop and share Insight on trends that impact the way brands will create and curate experiences for their future audiences

  • Design materials and methodologies to support development of our experience capability so that it remains current and relevant

Skills and Attributes

 

You are a recognized leader in Experience Strategy and implementation who can ute brand strategy by creating differentiating,                on-brand touch points. You can think and work across a multitude of disciplines to inspire people at all levels.                                        Someone who can see the big picture while simultaneously paying attention to needed detail.                                                                         In addition you possess the following skills and attributes:

 

  • A mix of strategic/ creative thinking and capabilities combined with a preparedness to make practical interventions to extend                   or improve current or prospective opportunities
  • Knowledgeable in broad range of research tools including analytics, ethnography, qualitative and quantitative research, etc.
  • Experienced and flexible strategic thinker, doer and implementer with experience and knowledge across a range of disciplines.

  • Aware of and have a point of view about the impact of technology and digital on brands and on customers
  • A strong appreciation and empathy for the creative process and an ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders
  • Inspirational team leader

 

Qualifications:

 

  • BA/ BS degree or higher level

  • Minimum 10 years experiences in mid/ big size advertising or PR agency required

  • Successful projects which led customer¡¯s growth or brand images

  • Broad network with customer/ client companies

  • Strong presenter and communicator for clients and colleagues

  • Experience implementing technology/ experience platforms
