Responsibilities Financial reporting

•   Generate expected/ actual cashflows for quarterly closing

•   Develops, enhances, and maintains Valuation Projection Models

•   Generate Valuation model memo

•   Quarterly GAAP and local statutory financial/ solvency reporting 

•   Movement analysis on liabilities, inforce values and SOE (Source of earning) analysis

•   Any required reports from regulatory, auditors and management

Experience study

•   Responsible for handling data to support actuarial analyses.

•   Experience studies of mortality, morbidity, lapse

•   Generate valuation basis change memo

•   Experience monitoring and experience variance analysis

Performs other projects and/or duties as required

Qualifications

•   Bachelor's degree

•   5 to 15 years of actuarial experience (valuation, experience studies, IFRS17 and K-ICS,etc.) in life and/or non-life insurance companies, with a strong preference for candidates

with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience

•   Korea Qualified Actuary is preferred

•   Actuarial software experience (Prophet is preferred)

•   Good verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English

•   Proficient Excel and software skills including database applications are preferred (Python, Oracle, SQL, Macro)
