Duties and Responsibilities:

 

      Generate new business opportunities in a proper manner with attitude matching

 

 

Contribute updating and managing business development manual and plan in place

 

and executed properly.

 

Create and maintain the good will relationship with other department and operation in

 

order to induce better benefit of RGA business.

 

Continuous active knowledge improvements.

 

Organizing and ensure the timely delivery of the quotations

 

Dealing with clients regarding actuarial matters including product development.

 

Generate new business ideas and solutions to clients’ business problems.

 

Support the Director of Business Development in the organization of RGA various

 

business development activities like industry seminars, training and benchmarking

 

trips.

 

Prepare regular business development activity reports.

 

Prepare market intelligence reports (competition, products, key players, etc...)

 

Visit current and prospective clients regularly

 

Report recent competitor’s movement

 

Active participation to industry gathering and meeting to leverage our reputations

 

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics or similar 

Member or Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Korea (or equivalent)

 

Over 5 years experience in the Korean insurance industry or international life

 

insurance experience

 

Fluency in English and Korean

 

Good oral and written skills

 

Good Team Worker

 

Ability to work independently and to show initiative

 

      Associate or equivalent of an Internationally recognised Actuarial Institute

 

      Previous reinsurance experience

 

Product development experience

 

International experience either through working for a global organisation or

 

directly working outside of Korea
