Position Title: DFO(Divisional Finance Officer)

The Job: DFO (Divisional Finance Officer) for the Consumer Lines, Head of Strategic Planning for the Consumer Lines

This new rule of DFO for the Consumer Lines will be responsible for forecasting, planning and other financial matters for all Major Accounts A&H DM and Basics as well as IPL lines. This role will contribute to the long-term growth and success in the Consumer Platform(Nonlife and Life) to accelerate total DM TARP and consumer business.

He/She will report to Head of the Consumer Lines.

Business Planning and Forecasting

      - Internal dataset and research market information for Business Planning and Forecasting process

      - Effective communication with each business line manager and local F&A contact points

      - Budget Co-Ordinator in the Consumer line to handle the annual planning and regular forecasting process

Production & Performance Analysis and Reporting  

      - Business analytics for the Consumer Lines such as the sales, its acquisition cost, IRR, and LJA performance vs. Plan & Forecasts

      - Independently handle the regular monitoring and reporting for the management team’s review and report needed improvements

        and revisions to existing reports when identified

      - Sales data collection, verification and analysis on the business production in detail on daily, weekly, and monthly basis

Regular & Management Reporting Support

      - Regular and Ad Hoc Internal Reporting to the local management team, Regional Office and Head Office

      - Various production and internal system data handling in the financial Data  and Business Intelligence

      - Gather, consolidate and organize data for various presentations

      - Accuracy management and verification of data and information

Internal Data System Usage

      - Extract data best fit for the purpose from various internal systems

      - Perform creativity and flexibility in extracting, combining and verifying data

Other jobs

      - Any projects or reporting materials and ad-hoc requirements from local management team

What You Will Do:

Support CFO and the Head of the consumer lines in all business analytics for the consumer lines.

Position focused to various production and internal system data handling as well as monitoring the market trend.

Do effective & efficient teamwork with all related parties for the reporting and planning/forecasting process.

Communication with the consumer lines' department colleagues.

Report and information sharing with local FP&A and  Regional/Head offices.

What you will need:

1. Preferred years of experience:  15+ years in Insurance industry(Life preferable) or Financial Industry

2. Skilled knowledge of OA/Data analysis & Fluency in English(especially for written)

3. Good communication skill with related parties.

4. Experience of designing and working within clearly structured frameworks and approach to analysis

5. Practical experience of estimating and detailed planning of analysis work streams & reporting against plan.
