Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Case Underwriting: need to have strong capability of handling medical and financial FAC cases with the understanding 

·         Planning skills: ability to analyse data for FAC or relevant statistics and strategize results into objectives. Assist with periodic internal reports.

·         Manage internal guidelines including the management of GUM updates and Korea specific guidelines while communicating with regional teams to reflect local circumstances.

·         Projects: support on-going projects that require both UW input and statistical analysis.

Requirements:

·         5+ years of life and living benefits underwriting experience.

·         Highly advanced knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting policies and procedures and guidelines for dealing with risk analysis.

·         Highly advanced knowledge of medical, financial and legal aspects as applicable to evaluation of life reinsurance risks.

·         Advanced ability to comprehend and interpret insurance documents.

·         Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to build professional relationships with team and various clients

·         Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a changing environment

·         Project and process planning ability

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Have a good command of both spoken and written English

·         A passion for life insurance
