JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Actuarial Analyst 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Come up with a tailor-made reinsurance solution based on client’s financial situations.

·  Be very knowledgeable about local regulations related to K-ICS and IFRS17.

·  Take lead communications between client and internal RGA associates involved in the

· project.  Support or take in part the modelling of inforce quoting activities.

·  Review and reconcile resulting product's profitability.

·  Communicate and explain results to regional pricing and local senior management.

·  Understand product, client’s data/experience, reinsurance structures to properly model

· risks implied. Ensure all important risks have been assessed and modelled.  Play a key role in the review of work done by peers. Provide technical support to other

· members of the teams.

 Requirements:

·Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Actuarial Science or similar

·  Associate of the Society of Actuaries or similar or progress being made towards

·  At least 5~7 years life insurance experience or relevant similar experience post

· University  Advanced Excel skills

·  Good English language skills

·  Ability to effectively participate in, and help foster a team-based work environment

·  Ability to work independently and to show initiative

·  Ability to understand client’s financial statements and valuation-related issues

·  Previous reinsurance pricing experience preferred
