Job Description

-       Underwrite Commercial Property and/or Engineering business of every sort including channel management.

-       Actively build, maintain, and expand business relationships, generating new businesses by negotiating with agencies and brokers.

-       Comply with corporate underwriting guidelines, internal working processes, and referral systems.

-       Collaborate across the teams in other offices in the region (APAC) as well as with COG

-       Contribute to the development and implementation of section goals and strategies.

-       Proactive partnership with internal service providers to maximize efficiency, corporate knowledge, and client service.

Preferred Qualification

-       Minimum 5 years of working experience in property market, including minimum three years of professional underwriting experience. (Not mandatory)

-       Business acumen as well as affinity to challenging new product development related Property and engineering underwriting.

-       Sound knowledge of Property and Engineering underwriting including risk assessment, pricing, wordings and claim handling.

-       Entrepreneurial and deal-making attitude as well as strong client focus and the ability to identify clients' needs.

-       Strong resilience to work under high pressure and ambitious growth strategy.

-       Excellent command of English both in speaking and writing.
