Job Description

-       Develop and underwrite various risks of specialized industries (especially Life Science*) by analyzing the client’s business operations to determine risk exposure

-       Underwrite niche/multi-line products such as Life Science, Clinical Trials Liability, E&O, Cyber across lines of business

-       Negotiate pricing and terms with producers including brokers and cedents, as well as find creative solutions that insured, and producer need while adhering to IP underwriting strategies

-       Regular and thorough data management to obtain solid ground for data analysis

-       Research in industry trends to contribute to future product development

-       Active interface to client management in servicing client accounts and tapping new business potential

Preferred Qualification

-       University Graduate

-       Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in P&C underwriting or broking, preferred in Casualty or Financial lines

-       Strong analytical, relationship management and communication skills

-       Strong negotiation skills with a high level of customer and commercial awareness

-       Self-motivated to learn new knowledge and market trends

-       Fluent in English, both verbal and written
