MAIN
PURPOSE |
|
Entails
overseeing the management and optimization of our Front-Office and
Back-Office applications, with a specific focus on local Digital Eco system
while ensuring the local seamless operation support, enhancement, and
integration of our Global Retail, CRM (Marketing) and Digital systems,
Regional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and Warehouse Management
System (WMS), as well as other local Korean-specific applications. This
position requires a good understanding of both technology, Retail industry
and the local Korean market to effectively support our business objectives. |

KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES |
|
1.
Digital Transformation Leadership: |
|
• Drive
the digital transformation strategy across the organization, focusing on
enhancing productivity and efficiency. |
|
•
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and propose
innovative solutions aligned with business objectives. |
|
2.
Application Management: |
|
• Manage
the full lifecycle of Front-Office and Back-Office applications, including
installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades. |
|
•
Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of the
applications. |
|
•
Collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
to resolve technical issues and optimize application functionality. |
|
•
Responsible for ensuring compliance with Korean policies of Cybersecurity
standards for servers related to the applications |
|
3. Team
Leadership: |
|
• Lead a
team consisting of IT Infra. and ERP function. |
|
•
Provide guidance, mentorship, and conduct performance evaluations to foster
professional growth within the team. |
4.
Business Analysis and Solution Design: |
|
• Work
closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and
identify opportunities for digitalization. |
|
•
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical
designs for system enhancements. |
|
•
Coordinate with regional or global teams/vendors for successful
implementation of system enhancements. |
|
|
5.
Project Management: |
|
•
Oversee global projects related to IT, ensuring timely delivery within
budgetary constraints. |
|
• Define
project scope, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress towards
project goals. |
|
6.
Vendor Management: |
|
•
Collaborate with external vendors for effective support, maintenance,
licensing or procurement of IT systems. |
|
7.
Documentation and Reporting: |
|
•
Create/maintain technical documentation including system diagrams,user
manuals,and standard operating procedures (SOPs). |
|
|
REQUIREMENTS |
|
•
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field. |
• A
minimum of 10 years of proven experience in managing Front-Office and
Back-Office applications, preferably in a renowned IT company. |
•
In-depth understanding of the Retail industry and its systems such as POS and
SAP. |
•
Experience with advanced applications and organizational environments in IT
companies. |
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent English is required for effective communication with stakeholders at
various levels (Global, Regional, local GMs and Managers). |
•
Proficiency in understanding Management and integration Retail, CRM, Digital
systems , OMS, AX, WMS, etc. |
•
Demonstrated experience in project management including planning
execution,and delivery of IT projects preferably within the Korean market. |
•
Proficient in system administration configuration,and troubleshooting of
enterprise-level applications. |
• Strong
hands-on management capabilities leadership coaching,and people management
skills are necessary for this role. |
• Strong
analytical problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering effective
solutions tailored to the Korean market. |
